Keep away from chemical products such as hair spray and perfume. The chemicals will damage the surface of the pearl. Use a warm damp cloth to clean pearl jewelry after each use. Do not keep pearl jewelry in dry places, for pearls may crack or become brittle as they dehydrate. Re-string pearls periodically (once a year), as pearl strands may become loose and break as time passes.
