After the pearls are separated into different categories, they are ready for the drilling process. Hole drilling is operated by experienced workers, and is able to place holes to hide any flaws on the pearls.

The bleaching process may take from few hours to few weeks. Modern Japanese techniques have allowed us to bleach the pearls in the least amount of time and do as little harm to them as possible.
